What is the best image resolution?

When printing a book, it is advised that you supply images of 300 dpi. DPI stands for dots per inch. Supplying images with 300 dpi resolution will ensure the best printing quality and any lower can result in pixelated images when printing takes place.

As you can see from Fig.1, the image with a lower dpi looks pixelated even at 100% magnification. If you zoom in, it continues to pixelate further.

Looking at Fig.2 you can see that even at 200% magnification, the image remains unpixelated.

What files are accepted?

When supplying your image files to us we accept the following formats:

JPEG
TIFF
PSD
AI
PDF

It is very important for you be aware that you alone must own the rights to the images or have been granted permission by their owner.
